Since its inception, Bravura Duo has gained a large international following across multiple media platforms, with performance videos shared by scores of music fans as well as featured on notable podcasts and channels.

A recipient of several music and merit awards, Karolina served as assistant concertmaster of Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra for eight seasons, 2010-2018, after previously performing with numerous other ensembles in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and beyond. She is a highly sought-after teacher and clinician, mentoring aspiring young violinists at her private studio in Allen, Texas. Karolina earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, summa cum laude; a Master of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music; and an Artist Diploma from the University of North Texas, where she studied with world-renowned violinist and pedagogue, Emanuel Borok.

Praised for having “a lustrous, polished tone with graceful phrasing” (New York Times) and “a great lyricism and technical prowess” (Strad Magazine), Daniel Nix has performed as soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician in the most prestigious concert halls around the world. He has worked with lengendary artists such as Gary Karr, Ida Haendel, Peter Gabriel, Jens Lindemann and members of the Borodin and Lafayette String Quartets.

Daniel recently toured Europe performing as soloist with the Estonian National Male Choir and Orchestra and recorded his debut album, Silva Caledonia, featuring music composed especially for him by famed English composer Gavin Bryars. He has also been a laureate member of I Palpiti Artists International since 2007,  performing worldwide with leading musicians from twenty countries.

Daniel is the founder of the Bassinova Quartet, which performs traditional string quartet repertoire as well as new compositions, as part of Daniel's continuing commitment to expand the presence of the double bass in chamber music.

"One of the best decisions we made was to have Bravura Duo for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were absolutely perfect and we received many complements from our guests. We had made a special request for our recessional song and Karolina did not hesitate to fulfill our unique request. There was great communication throughout the whole process even though we never met in person. Very professional and talented, and they helped set the mood for the rest of the evening."

Luisa Gonzalez

"Professional and incredibly talented!!! So happy with their performance!
Thank you!"

Tamara Patricks Stevens

"Bravura Duo is absolutely fantastic. We had them play at our wedding and the music was beautiful the entire time. They even were willing to travel to come to our location. They were very accommodating and played songs we had picked out for walking down the aisle and the first dances. Our wedding guests thoroughly enjoyed having live classical music, and I’m so glad we booked them. Karolina was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with from the time we asked if they were available up until the wedding day. They were there on time and knew what they were doing. Karolina and Daniel are extremely professional, talented musicians, and anyone would be lucky to hear them play, and even luckier to book them for an event. They truly made our wedding day so special."

Lauren Abston Wyatt

"The level of performing and presentation is most certainly at the highest level in north Dallas. These fine performers strive to achieve the very best for those that want the very best for their special event. Their attention to detail is what makes them very special!"
